High walls, ceiling surfaces, ledges and identified bird-dropping areas require a different plan from routine floor care.
A CLEARLY DEFINED PROJECT
Scope the height. Protect the operation.
The walkthrough records ceiling height, surface construction, access routes and the equipment or aircraft below the work. Cleaning methods, suitable access equipment and work-zone isolation are agreed before a crew is scheduled. No-water areas are identified rather than discovered after work begins.
Bird-dropping accumulations are assessed for extent and work-area controls. Dry sweeping or uncontrolled pressure washing is not assumed to be suitable. Extensive contamination, active nesting or conditions needing specialist remediation are reviewed separately before a cleaning scope is accepted.
What your scope should cover
- Height, reach and floor access confirmed for any lift.
- Electrical equipment and sensitive surfaces identified.
- Aircraft below the work relocated only by authorized personnel.
- No-water or controlled hand-cleaning areas defined.
- Debris containment and final work-area check included in scope.

Questions before we schedule
Can cleaning be scheduled around aircraft movements?
Yes. We discuss occupied bays, access windows and areas that must remain available. Aircraft and operational equipment are moved only by your authorized personnel, not assumed to be part of the cleaning scope.
What happens where water cannot be used?
Tell us about electrical equipment, finishes and no-water restrictions during the walkthrough. We can scope controlled hand cleaning or other suitable methods instead of assuming pressure washing is appropriate. The method and protected areas are agreed before work.
Can we combine hangar cleaning and aircraft detailing?
Yes, where scheduling and access permit. The two scopes are defined separately and coordinated through Aquarius Lux so aircraft-ready times and facility access remain clear.
